Mycotoxin binder
Description
4FIX is specially designed to adsorb mycotoxins and more specifically aflatoxins and ochratoxin A in animal feed and improve the general health status of the animal. It is composed of bentonite and calcium propionate.
Objective
The objective is to eliminate the risk on mycotoxicosis in animals caused by contaminated feed or feed ingredients with mainly Aflatoxins or Ochratoxin A. 4FIX can be used in combination with 4FIX PREMIUM when others than aflatoxins are also present.
Mode of action
4FIX has an outstanding adsorption capacity for aflatoxins and ochratoxin A mycotoxins . It also prevents moulds to grow or develop mycotoxins.
Application
General recommendation to prevent and reduce the risk of mycotoxicosis is 1 kg/ton of feed. If risk is higher than following recommendation is valid:
Poultry and swine: 1.5 à 2 kg/ton of animal feed
Beef cattle and dairy cows: 10 to 50 g/cow/day
