Natural antioxidant solution for animal feed
Description
4DGE-50 is a product made from grape dry extract. Under European legislation, grape dry extract is defined by its total polyphenol content (> 80 %), in procyanidines (> 60 %) and in anthocyanines (> 0.75 %) (EFSA, 2b485).
Objective
4DGE-50 contains a broad range of antioxidative polyphenols. These antioxidative molecules can reduce the negative effects of oxidative stress.
Oxidative stress caused by diseases, general strong metabolism as well as environmental discomforts.
4DGE-50 is composed in order to partly replace of Vit E-50 in a ratio of 1 to 1.
Mode of action
The strong antioxidative effects are due to neutralizing/scavenging the free radicals and due to the activation of the synthesis of the endogenous antioxidative enzymes (SOD, GPx).
Application
4DGE-50 is to be used in the feed (either via premix or direct) . 4DGE-50 can be used to partly replace Vit E-50 in a ratio of 1 to 1.
4DGE-50 can also be added on top of the feed to improve general health status and performance of the animals.
General recommendation is 250 -500 g/ton of feed for poultry and and 400-600 g/ton of feed for pigs..
