Natural antioxidant solution for animal feed
Description
4DGE-50 is a product based on dried grape extract. According to European legislation, a dried grape extract is defined by its total polyphenolic content (> 80 %%), in procyanidines (> 60 %) and in anthocyanines (> 0.75 %) (EFSA, 2b485).
Objective
4DGE-50 contains a wide range of antioxidant polyphenols. These antioxidant molecules have the ability to reduce the negative effects of oxidative stress.
Oxidative stress caused by diseases, general strong metabolism as well as environmental discomforts.
4DGE-50 is formulated to allow for replacement partial of vitamin E-50 according to a ratio of 1 to 1.
Mode of action
The strong antioxidative effects are due to neutralizing/scavenging the free radicals and due to the activation of the synthesis of the endogenous antioxidative enzymes (SOD, GPx).
Application
Dosage: 250 to 500 g/tonne of feed for poultry.
4DGE-50 can be used to replace partially Vitamin E-50 according to a ratio of 1 to 1.
4DGE-50 can also be added on top of the feed to improve general health status and performance of the animals.
