Liquid natural antioxidant solution
Description
4AOX is a liquid product based on scientific proven effective ingredients in poultry production. It is composed of natural polyphenols originating from dry grape extract and green tea extract combined with natural betaine, ascorbic acid and salts of propionic and sorbic acid to preserve shelf life.
Objective
Under production related as well as under environmental challenges, physiological stress can occur. This will affect the functioning of the immune system, the digestive system and the general metabolism of the animals. Production performance of poultry and other animal species will be negatively affected under such circumstances. Supplying 4AOX will support the balance of the physiological processes and prevent the negative impact on animal health and performance.
Mode of action
By combining the broader range of natural polyphenols (monomeric catechins to oligomeric proanthocyanidins) not only strong cellular antioxidative effects are measurable, also prébiotic and antibacterial effects are observed.
If cell functioning is challenged or affected, not only antioxidative activity is required but also the osmolyte water balance needs to be restored or maintained. Betaine not only restores this water balance but also supplies methyl-groups which are essential in general metabolism of poultry and other species. Besides this it also promotes recovery of the enterocytes and supports the cells during cell turnover.
Application
4AOX is a liquid product to be applied via the drinking water at a dose of 1 liter per 1000 liter of water. 4AOX can be used safely for all poultry species as well as for other monogastric animals.
Recommended period: when needed.
